Welcome to the Ladybugs room!
We will do our best to give your baby the best care by addressing their needs, cuddling with them, singing for them and treating them with respect and tenderness. We also like to promote individual independence as they grow in the Ladybug Room, such as: self-feeding, playing on their own and napping in cribs without being rocked to sleep. We like to listen to a variety of music such as classical and children's songs. We also use a lot of hand motion, baby signs and finger plays. We will help your child through all their developmental milestones from ages: 6 weeks until their transition to the Firefly Room. Below is a list of Ladybug room guidelines that we follow in order to provide the best care for your children.
· We have a “no shoe policy” into our room. This policy is in place to avoid bringing outside dirt and germs into the babies’ crawl space and play area.
· Please remember, parents are required to label all jar food and bottles with your child’s name and date. This is a licensing requirement.
· Please remember WCCC closes at 5:30. We do charge late fees for any pick-ups after 5:30 and after 12:30 for part-time families.
· Please remember to look at your family handbook for information about WCCC regulations and rules on sickness, holidays, and other important guidelines. If you do not have a copy of this handbook, please see the office for a copy.
· Weather permitting; we take our babies outside for some fresh air. We like to go for a ride in the buggy and in the crib. They have fun watching the older children play.
· We like to encourage our babies to play and interact with their classmates.
